Tai Lewis -Aida

Tai is thrilled to be participating in her first Signature Production. Originally from Pasadena, CA, she has been involved in various production shows such as Legends in Concert and Born Divas. Tai would like to thank her Mom for seeking out the opportunity and to Signature for giving her the opportunity to bring Aida to life.

Brandon Albright -Radames

Brandon was last seen on the Spring Mt. stage curing warts with his dead cat as Huck Finn in The Adv. of Tom Sawyer. Past roles include Brother (older AND younger), Son, and distant cousin. But the role for which he is most proud is that of husband to the most beautiful and talented woman in Las Vegas. “Queso, Te amo mas hoy dia.” He dedicates his performance to his brother Steve. “Gracias por tu ejemplo. Eres un Amigo verdadero.”

*Nicole Riding -Amneris

Nicole is brand new to Signature! Credits: Eponine- Broadway National Tour of Les Miserables, Narrator- Joseph…Dreamcoat, Anita-West Side Story, Abigail Williams- The Crucible, Mama Noah- Children of Eden, Stephanie- Berlin- The Musical (New York Premiere). BFA from BYU. Nicole is a member of Actor’s Equity and thanks her husband Cristian Bell for letting her play at the Ranch this summer.

Ron Kalama -Zoser

Ron has been involved in many productions. Some credits: Beadle-Sweeney Todd, Jim-Big River, Tevye-Fiddler On The Roof, Cowardly Lion-Wizard of Oz, Singer-Tapestry, Ton Ton-Once on this Island, Co-Writer and Performer-Ku Kanaka, Opera Singer and Gondolier at the Venetian Hotel. Now he is the Entertainment Manager for the Gondolier Program. Ron’s wife, Sondee is a performer, as well as, are all three of their boys. Thank you to my family!

John C. Hughes - Amonasro

John is jazzed to be working with Signature for the first time but it’s his third time at the Ranch. He performed in Ragtime and was “gunned down” in Johnny Guitar last season. John is a music teacher and a 24Hour Fitness Group X Instructor. John thanks his family and friends for their support and tolerance of his drama addiction.

 

Keith Dotson -Mereb

By frequenting “The Ranch” you most likely have come across Keith at some point. You may have seen him last summer as Coalhouse in Ragtime or Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar. Past performances include the voice of the plant (Audrey II) in Little Shop of Horrors, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Godspell, The Wiz, Joseph... Dreamcoat, Seussical, Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Thanks, Tim!

Tony Blosser -Pharaoh

This marks Tony’s fifth show at Super Summer Theater. He is overjoyed to be included in this amazingly gifted cast! Some of his past credits include Walker/Ned – Three Days Of Rain, Younger Brother – Ragtime(SST), Dauntless – Once Upon A Mattress(SST), and Pippin – Pippin. Much Love to his family for all of their support and for their insistance on seeing all his shows at least three times!

E’Dawn Severence -Ensemble

Most commonly behind the scenes working on costumes for various theater companies in Las Vegas and as a board member of ENDLESS Productions, E’Dawn is very excited to be on the stage once again. Some past roles include Mrs. Frank – The Diary of Ann Frank, Death – Mort and Maggie/Morales understudy – A Chorus Line. Smooches Haley and Sabine!

Amanda Kraft -Ensemble

Amanda is delighted to be working with Signature for the first time! Originally from Chicago, she is now a Theatre major at UNLV. Recent credits include Evelyn Nesbit- Ragtime (SST), Chava- Fiddler on the Roof, and C.B’s Sister- Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead. Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!

Teresa Martinez -Ensemble

Teresa is once again excited to be working with Signature Productions! She holds a BFA in Dance and currently choreographs and teaches to all ages. Some recent credits include The Outlet Dance Project, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Grand Night for Singing, and Beauty and the Beast. Much love to her family, Randy and the cast/crew! Christian Escobar -Ensemble

Christian is very excited to be working with Signature for the first time. His credits include Rooster- Annie, and countless productions at the International Church of Las Vegas. He would like to thank his friends and family for their awesome support, and to this amazing cast and crew for all of their hard work and talent. This one’s for you Nan and Pop!

Donovan Kidd- Ensemble

This is Donovan’s first show with Signature Productions or Super Summer Theater. He is a graduate of The Las Vegas Academy, where he majored in theatre. He is currently pursuing a BFA in Theater Performance at the University of Evansville. Past roles include: The Beast-Beauty and the Beast, Grandfather-Ragtime, Galen Gray-Anatomy of Gray and Lloyd-Reckless.

Bianca Guevara -Ensemble

Bianca is currently a Musical Theatre Major at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in LA. She is excited to be apart of this amazing cast of Aida, as she celebrates her first performance with Signature! Credits:Annie, Passion of the Christ, Grease, Lion King, Oliver & Oklahoma. Hugs & Kisses to her family and friends for all their love & support over the years!

Ashley Oblad -Ensemble

Ashley is a Dance Major at Brigham Young University and will graduate in December. She has spent the last 4 years touring the U.S. and Europe with the BYU International Folk Dance Ensemble and performed with danc Ensemble, a modern dance team. This is her first show at SST and her 3rd with Signature Productions. Thanks mom and dad…I am loving this!!!

Dana Kreitz -Ensemble

Dana has never before performed with Signature, but she hopes this will not be her last adventure with them. She is a Psychology and Theatre student at UNLV. Favorite roles include: Diana-Lend Me a Tenor and Lily-Annie. She thanks her fabulous family, Adi, and Michelle, and the wonderful people putting this show on for a fantastic experience.

 

Leah Kreitz - Ensemble

Leah is a Theatre/English Major at UNLV. She is super excited to be involved in her first production with Signature. Her most recent roles include Ronnie Boylan – Annie, Ruth – Blithe Spirit, Dance Captain/Swing – Grease. She thanks all of the cast and crew for their amazing efforts, and especially Dana for always driving her around. Love you!

 

Giovanni Bonaventura -Ensemble

Giovanni is currently a Sophomore Musical Theatre Major at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. He is very excited to work with Signature again! Credits: Laurie- Little Women, Young Soldier/ Fiddlin’ John- Parade, Asher/ Butler- Joseph…Dreamcoat, Friedrich- The Sound of Music. He would like to thank his family for all their endless support and dedication and his friends for watching him perfect his fuetes!

 

 

Joel Abelson - Ensemble

This is Joel’s first production with Signature, his credits include Danny Zuko in Grease and Officer O’Hara in Arsenic & Old Lace. When he isn’t singing or performing he can be found playing the role of SGT Abelson, a medic in the US ARMY. Set for deployment to Iraq in Jan 2009 Joel is super-stoked to be able to perform at the ranch before he leaves!

 

Lauren Basch -Ensemble

Lauren is excited to be involved in her first Signature Production, and can’t wait for more to come.  Her favorite roles are Ms. Hannigan- Annie, Marty-Grease, Eve-Children of Eden. She would like to thank her family, Dana and Leah her rides everywhere, and the AMAZING cast/crew. This ones for you Papa, miss you!

 

Andrew Eddins  -Ensemble

Originally from Las Vegas, Andrew is extremely stoked to be back home doing his first signature production. Andrew will be a senior at Concordia University in Irvine, CA and is pursuing his BA in theatre. He would like to thank Steve for this awesome opportunity, his family and friends for being nice by coming to the show, and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for blessing him with a passion for theatre.

 

Socorro Jones -Ensemble

Corrie's professional career began in the Urban Contemporary Dance Company in Baltimore, MD.  She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Dance at UNLV, and continues to be blessed with many exciting dancing/choreographing, and teaching opportunities.  Dance is her love and she's so excited to join Signature at SST with this production of AIDA.  I'm having a blast!

 

Chondell Leland -Nehebka/Ensemble

 A singer from Upstate New York, she has spent the last ten years performing on the Las Vegas Strip in lounges and with Show Bands. Most recently she has been the Musical Director for the Band N.E.O. and the Vocal Director for the bands Groove Kitty and, Girlie Gangstar. Her credits also include the Jo Bang band, which opened for Erika Badu, Musiq, and Floetry, and singing Back up Vocals for Vince Neil of Motley Crue.

Steve Huntsman - Director/Costume Designer

Steve has performed, designed and directed with various theatre companies in the community for the past 13 years. A few of his favorite roles include Johnny in Tick, tick...Boom! Tom Sawyer in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, as well as Rapunzel's Prince/Mysterious Man in Into the Woods, The Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Portia in Cinderella, Judas in Godspell, Papa Ge in Once On This Island and the Scarecrow in The Wiz.  Steve is also an accomplished artist and designer.  His scenic and costume designs have been seen in Signature’s productions of Cinderella , Joseph... Dreamcoat and Peter Pan.  His directorial credits include Nunsense, Joseph...Dreamcoat and Peter Pan.  Thanks to Mowgli, Pippers, Buddy Boy and Lola Boo for letting Mommy and Daddy go play with their friends and to Sandra who supports him in everything he sets out to do!

Shauna Oblad - Musical Director

Shauna has been on the Board of Signature Productions since its beginnings in 1988. She has been both on stage and behind the scenes as Director, Asst. Director, and Musical Director. She was educated in Music and Dramatic Arts at BYU and the University of Utah. Thank you John, Alli, Eliza, Taylor and Ashley for 20 years of support!

Keith Dotson - Choreographer/ AD

Keith was classically trained at Miami University of Oxford, Ohio where he received a Bachelors Degree in Music. He has worked on several Cruise Lines and Theme Parks through the years.  He has also performed in hotels on The Strip such as The Stratosphere, MGM Grand, Excalibur, New York New York and the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.  Choreography credits include Nunsense, Into the Woods and Jesus Christ Superstar.   He recently made his directorial debut with Signature’s production of A Grand Night for Singing .

Jay LeDane - Lighting Designer

Jay is a graduate of both West Virginia University (BFA Lighting Design) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (MFA Lighting Design).  Recent designs include: How to Succeed…., and Cinderella for the Nevada Conservatory Theatre.  Nunsense, Into the Woods, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Peter Pan, and A Grand Night for Singing for Signature Productions as well as Jesus Christ Super Star and Beauty and The Beast for P.S. Productions.  Jay is happy to be working with Signature again.

 

Sandra Huntsman - Hair & Make Up Designer/ Production Manager

Sandra’s credits include: Hair/Makeup – Beauty and the Beast, Once On This Island, Into the Wood; Costumes – Noises Off! A Grand Night for Singing, Cinderella; Actress – Eliza in My Fair Lady, Andrea in Once on this Island, Yonah in Children of Eden. Much love to Steve for his patience and love, and hugs to Amanda, Valinda, Shannon and Annette!

 

Valinda Gubler - Costume Construction

Years of experience in the theatre and as a seamstress have prepared Valinda for costuming this production of AIDA. Valinda's costume work was seen recently in Signature's Cinderella, Into the Woods,  Joseph...Dreamcoat, Peter Pan  and the national tour of Disney's AIDA. Her costume work is also seen internationally as the owner of Once Upon a Costume. She credits her success to the support of her wonderful husband and the love of her three little princesses.

 

Megan Marquez - Stage Manager

Megan has been behind the scenes in Las Vegas Community Theatre for over 10 years. This is her first show with Signature and she is excited about the opportunity. Thank you to the friends & family who have let me be crazy about theatre (and in general) for all these years.
