MELISSA RIEZLER - ANNA LEONOWENS Melissa is thrilled to be making her debut in Las Vegas with Signature Productions in The King and I! Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Melissa has been blessed to sing her way around the world working on cruise ships and for Walt Disney Productions. Some of her other performance credits include Sandy in Grease, The Narrator in Joseph, Grace Farrell in Annie, as well as many other wonderful shows. Melissa would like to thank her friends and family, especially her husband and kids, for providing her with such a beautiful song to sing. |

JACQUELINE MELENDEZ - TUPTIM Jacqueline couldn’t be more honored to portray such a beautiful character. This is her 4th show with Signature & is overjoyed to work under such talented direction. IANROD GARGANTIEL - LUN THA/VOCALIST Ianrod Gargantiel, baritone, a native of the Philippines, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada at age 16 and graduated from Durango High School. Recently, Ian was featured as a soloist in Eric Whitacre’s Cloudburst, with the Las Vegas Master Singers, and in a multi-singer performance of Franz Schubert’s Die Schö ne Mü llerin. Having placed first in Division V of the Las Vegas Chapter National Association of Teachers of Singing Student Awards and in June studied and performed in the 1st Annual Big Bear Lake Song Festival in California. He currently performs in the Artiste dell’ Arte and Gondolier programs at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas and studies with Dr. Stephanie Thorpe. |

KIMMIE KIDD - LADY THIANG/DANCER Kimberly “Kimmie” Kidd, Lady Thiang hails from St. Louis Mo. She attended The Visual and Performing Arts Center in St. Louis, Missouri, where she studied dance, music, and drama. This is Kimmie’s second show with Signature Productions. She appeared in Signature’s Production of Once on This Island in 2003. Some of Kimmie’s other credits include: Vienna- Johnny Guitar, The Musical, Sarah- Ragtime, Glenda- The Wiz. She is currently a member of the Artiste dell’ Arte program at The Venetian Hotel, where she sings Italian Opera and Neapolitan song. Kimmie can also be seen as a member of The Soprano Sisters, a musical ensemble counterpart to Broadway’s “Three ‘Mo Tenors”. Kimmie would like to thank her family for their unending love and support! I love you all very much! |

ANGELO MOLINERI - CHULULONGKORN Angelo began his joy for acting at Gilbert Magnet School. He’s also had the oppportunity to perform with UNLV in Fiddler On The Roof, CSN Shenandoah, a local singing group called “Razzamatazz”, " the Sea five singers" Fern Adair studio production of Oklahoma and numerous Shakespeare plays. He enjoys school and his friends, swimming, dancing and books, theres is almost nothing he wouldn’t want to try. But most of all he really enjoys Theater. |

PAUL VILLALUZ - KRALAHOME Paul is a transportation engineer who has performed the national anthem over 150 times for the Las Vegas Wranglers. This is his seventh show with Signature Productions. He won $750 in an episode of Win Ben Stein’s Money (access his website, www.paulsings.com to see it). He loves his family and his Miss Stephanie very much. |

JACKSON LANGFORD - LOUIS LEONOWENS Jackson is currently a 5th grade student at the Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain. He is the youngest in the family with two sisters and a brother. He has performed in productions such as Willy Wonka and Once Upon a Mattress. He enjoys both performing and the fine arts. He plays little league baseball and enjoys hanging out with his friends. |

PAULENA KINEL - ROYAL CHILD Paulena loves to be on stage. Her moments in the spotlight, so far, have been dancing with the Nevada Ballet Theatre in the Spring Performance, singing at UNLV Hamm Hall, the New Orleans Arena and Opportunity Village with J.Bilbray E.S. choir, performing in a Pirate Show with Drama Kids and singing solo at the Roma Pizzaria. During free time Paulena likes to swim, play soccer, read, write lyrics to songs and have fun with her family and friends. |

CAROLINE THUET - ROYAL CHILD/VOCALIST Caroline is an eleven year old girl who enjoys singing, dancing, playing sports, reading and writing stories. She has eight brothers and one sister. Her witty sense of humor and kind kind heart is a blessing to her family. She is not afraid to work hard and do her best. The love of learning drives her to try many new things. Best of all she brings a little ray of sunshine where ever she goes. |

VERONICA COMELEK - PRINCESS YING YAOWLAK Veronica is 6 years old and has had a love for dancing & singing since the age of 2. Her love of the stage was displayed in her performance in Suessical, Jr., where she played the part of a Who and a hot dog. Veronica’s other interests include playing with friends, golf, writing stories and fishing with her dad. Her recent credits include the role of an Air Hostess in A Recipe for Hummus in the Tribute for Israel’s 60th Birthday. She sings in the Choir directed by Susan Lind Vex and performed with them throughout Las Vegas. |

ALMOG AYBAR - ROYAL CHILD/VOCALIST Almog Aybar Agron is a fifth grade student at The Adelson Campus from Israel. MACKENZIE PRINCE - ROYAL CHILD/VOCALIST MacKenzie is a young women who lives life to its fullest. She loves to dance, sing, cheer, stunt, ski and the theatre. Her first performance was with Signature Productions in “Joseph” as one of the children, since then she performed as Annie, in “Annie” for Hollywood Kids and is thrilled to be back with Signature Productions and be a part of “The King and I”. She is happiest when she is with her family and friends. |

JARED BEANEN - ROYAL CHILD JARED BEANAN (Young Prince) This talented 10 year old is a 5th grade honor student at O’Roarke Elementary School. Jared has graced the stage as Aladdin with LVCMT, a solo player in LVCMT’s Godspell, and as Oliver with Las Vegas Dance Connection. Jared is also a young entrepreneur. He creates his own video games with his company JGamesOnline.com. He is thrilled to be performing in his first Signature production. |

CHASE DANIELS - ROYAL CHILD Chase Daniels is a sixth grader in the Magnet program at Bridger Middle School. He can be seen in the recently released feature film, “Thor at the Bus Stop”. Past favorite roles include: Winthrop Paroo in The Music Man and James Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies. Chase continues to train his triple threat skills. His dream is to one day make it to Broadway. Chase is thrilled to be making his Signature Productions debut in The King and I. |

AMY HYBARGER - ROYAL CHILD/VOCALIST Amy Hybarger is a fifth grader at Allen Elementary School. She has two older brothers, one at college and one in Finland, who are both happy she is performing in the King & I. Amy loves singing, playing the piano, dancing, cooking and playing with her dogs, Maizy & Boomer. She also loves riding her new bike and trampoline jumping with friends. He has a 13 year old sister Rachel who helps him with his homework and how to win video games. Joshua has studied dance for 3 years. TJ THOMAS - MALE ENSEMBLE/DECKHAND/PRIEST/PURCUSSION/DRAGON Tj is proud to be part of “The King and I” as his third Signature show! Past Signature roles include ensemble in Beauty and the Beast and Nibs in Peter Pan. His favorite role was Captain Hook in the PVHS production of Peter Pan. ANITA BEAN - ROYAL DANCER/AMAZON Anita is so happy and excited to perform once again with Signature Productions. She was last seen flashing her fabulous elbows as the stern and efficient Miss Flannery in “Thoroughly Modern Millie”. Anita has lived in Las Vegas for a year and a half, after spending the previous 16 years performing as a dancer with Carnival Cruise Lines. BREANNA BALLARD - FEMALE ENSEMBLE/AMAZON/DANCER I’m Breanna Ballard, I’m 17 years old and I am going into my second year at CSN. I started attending gymnastics classes at age 3, and picked up dance at age 5. I have been on multiple competitive gymnastics, dance, acrobatic, and cheerleading teams since age 7. I believe that dance has taught me a lot about myself, and it has also given me a way to express anything that I am feeling. If somebody were to ask me when I were most happy, one of my replies would, without a doubt, be “when I am on stage.” |
MARA MARTINEZ - ROYAL WIFE/VOCALIST Mara is delighted to be a part of Signature Productions, the King and I. Her theater credits include: Les Miserables (Fantine), Grease (ensemble), Miss Saigon (ensemble) and South Pacific (ensemble). MAYA SHULEFAND - ROYAL WIFE/VOCALIST At the age of 5, Maya fell in love with theatre. At 7 she was enrolled in the Santa Monica Playhouse in CA, and 8 years later she is still performing. Some of her recent roles include a dramatic part as Vodya in SLAVS!, and Gemma in A Recipe for Hummus, a two person play. She just LOVED being in the children’s choir in Joseph…Dreamcoat with Signature Productions, and she is very excited to take part in another Signature adventure! KAYLA MAY - ROYAL WIFE/VOCALIST Kayla May is 15 and a sophomore at Las Vegas Adademy of preforming and visual arts, where she is involved in the vocal program. She has been singing most of her life. She is a member of the Desert Chorale, Vari8tions, and a featured soloist for the Desert chorale. She has given two solo vocal recitals under the direction of Daedre Beaumont. She has taken dance for 5 years in various dance disciplines. She loves life and can’t wait to see what life has instore. |

ANDREW PAN - PRIEST/DRAGON/UNCLE THOMAS Andrew Pan was born in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). He started dancing when he was 10 years old in Malaysia. He also got a scholarship to study at the Central School of Ballet in London, and since then has danced and toured in Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Lebenon, Canada. LESLIE FOTHERINGHAM – DIRECTOR Leslie has been directing and producing with Signature Productions for the last 18 years. She currently serves as Signature’s Artistic Director. Her directing credits include Brigadoon, The Secret Garden, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Children of Eden, The Sound Of Music, Once On This Island (2003), My Fair Lady, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and most recently, Thoroughly Modern Millie. Leslie has appeared on stage in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown as Lucy, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and the Stepmother in Cinderella. Leslie loves spending time with her 7 grandchildren. She thanks her husband, Dennis, the love of her life, for his love and patience as she spends countless hours playing with all her friends at Signature. |

SHAUNA OBLAD – MUSICAL DIRECTOR Shauna has been with Signature Productions since 1988. She has been on stage as Mrs.Flinders in two runs of Saturday’s Warrior,and as Eulalie M. Shinn in Music Man…She has directed Fiddler on the Roof, My Turn on Earth, and Saturday’s Warrior. She loves musical theatre and all the joy it brings to her heart and the hearts of those who come and enjoy with us.Shauna thanks her husband, John for us ultimate support in what she loves to do. ROMMEL PACSON - CHOREOGRAPHER Rommel Pacson has a BFA in Dance Performance/Choreography from Towson University, MD. He has performed extensively all over the world in a wide variety of dance fields. He has also tried his hand at acting, appearing in Take Me Out and Bent at Las Vegas Little Theater, GUM and The Mother of Modern Censorship at CSN, and The Dog Lady and The Man Who Turned Into a Dog with Asylum Theaters. His latest credits include Peanut Man in The Art of Prostitution, in the ensemble of Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Indio in West Side Story. He is honored to have been given this wonderful opportunity to choreograph The King and I and work with Signature Productions again. Thank you for supporting The Arts. |
